Developed exclusively for the camp industry, this nationally recognized program focuses on program quality, health, and risk management and requires us to review every facet of our operation. Tate’s Day Camp has voluntarily submitted to this independent appraisal done by camp experts and has earned this mark of distinction.

Executive Director, Chris Strevel, has served as president of the American Camp Association, Heart of the South Section and has served on numerous committees and task forces of the national organization. He is also a former national board member of the Camp Owners and Directors Association (CODA).

Lou L Tate, camp owner, is a former board member for the section.
