We recently asked our 2017 Day Camp Leadership Team members a few questions to help you and campers get to know them a bit better in preparation for this coming summer!
Meet Grayson Goble!
Q: How many summers have you worked for the Day Camp?
A: “I have worked for Tate’s since the summer of 2013 and have been a camper since I was three.”
Q: What is your official job title?
A: “I am the Aquatics Director.”
Q: Can you explain your role this coming summer?
A: “I will be managing and maintaining our three swimming pools, as well as teaching swimming lessons in the mornings and guarding free swims in the afternoons.”
Q: What do you enjoy most about Tate’s Day Camp?
A: “The thing I like best about Tate’s is seeing the children grow and learn. Nothing is more exciting than seeing kids try new things and gain confidence when they succeed!”
Q: Are you in school? If so, what are you studying and why?
A: “I am in school at Georgia Tech and studying Aerospace Engineering. Ever since I was young I have loved challenging myself to build and create new things. In my major, I get to do that every day!”
Q: What are you excited most about for this coming summer?
A: “This summer, I am most excited about seeing my kids improve in the pool. Nothing is more fulfilling to see kids who were scared of the diving board fearlessly do their first dive!”
