We recently asked a few of our staff members some questions so that you could get to know them better as camp nears. Meet Erin Osborne!

Q. How many summer’s have you worked at Tate’s Day Camp?

A. This will be my fifth summer working at Tate’s Day Camp.

Q. What is your job title?

A. I am a Counselor and Discovery Team Leader.

Q. What does your job entail?

A. My job this summer will be to facilitate fun, safe activities for 5-year old campers. I am also responsible for keeping them happy and hydrated! Providing support to my fellow Discovery counselors in any way possible is another one of my main duties.

Q. What is your favorite part about camp?

A. I enjoy Tate’s Day Camp because of the opportunities for growth it provides to both campers and counselors. Everybody gets to try new things and have fun every day. That kind of magic can’t be found anywhere else!

Q. Are you currently in school? If so, what are you studying?

A. I am currently working on my Master of Arts in Teaching degree, because my passion in life is to provide children with an environment where they are motivated to learn new things as well as develop life skills in new and fun ways.

Q. What are you most looking forward to this summer?

A. I am most looking forward to seeing new campers as well as returning ones try new activities and be proud of themselves for it. I am also looking forward to getting to see and have fun with members of my Tate’s family every day again.
