We recently asked a few of our staff members some questions so that you could get to know them better as camp nears. Meet Zack Cypcar!
Q. How many summer’s have you worked at Tate’s Day Camp?
A. This will be my sixth summer working at Tate’s Day Camp.
Q. What is your job title?
A. I am a Team Leader, but also a counselor for the 7s and 8s age group.
Q. What does your job entail?
A. I will primarily work as a normal counselor for the 7s and 8s age group, but being a Team Leader I can and will be asked to assist in other areas the best I can. I will do what I can to make everyone’s jobs easier this summer!
Q. What is your favorite part about camp?
A. It’s tough to have one favorite! Off the top of head I really enjoy working with people who have similar interests as me. I also love creating new games and activities for kids to try. And who doesn’t love working in the outdoors!?
Q. Are you currently in school? If so, what are you studying?
A. I am currently enrolled at UTK earning my Music Education degree and teacher’s license. I have always aspired to be a teacher, and enjoy playing and performing music, so I thought why not combine them?
Q. What are you most looking forward to this summer?
A. I look forward to meeting new and old coworkers, and hope to give the kids a fantastic summer experience!
