One of Tate's School's beloved traditions is our annual Thanksgiving play. This year, our 1st Grade students performed, telling the story of Thanksgiving through drama, humor, and song. Some students portrayed Pilgrims and Native Americans as they told the story of Plymouth Colony. Other students portrayed farm animals and a farm family in a humorous skit where "Tom Turkey" tried to hide from the farmer because he was told, "We want you for supper on Thanksgiving". Thank you to all who were in attendance for our annual Veterans Day ceremony on Friday. This event is one of our most cherished as we celebrate and thank those who have so bravely served our country in our armed forces. In addition to having many veterans in attendance, we were also blessed to have Master Sergeant Justin Ingle as our special guest. MSG Ingle is a fourth-generation firefighter/advanced EMT and is an active member of the Tennessee Air National Guard. This is his 21st year serving with the 134th Air Refueling Wing at McGhee Tyson Airport. We will post the video of the ceremony tomorrow but hope you enjoy these photos from the event. #VeteransDay ... See MoreSee Less
